Job summary

OCBC is looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop and test enterprise applications in Singapore. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

The role emphasizes API design, RESTful services, and robust integration with banking systems. You will work on cloud, DevOps, and security practices using OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, Linux, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or related field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience, preferably in banking/finance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical design capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications using Java, Spring Boot and related tech.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Participate in code reviews and drive code quality improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
