Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer to architect and implement end-to-end solutions, from rich UIs to scalable backend services.

You will lead frontend with React.js/Next.js, build backend with Node.js Express or Java Spring Boot, design RESTful APIs, deploy on AWS, and collaborate across teams in an agile environment to deliver secure government digital services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with fullstack capability.
• Strong expertise in React.js and Next.js with state management.
• Experience with Node.js/Express or Java Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, EC2, and S3.
• SQL knowledge across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of SOLID, DRY, and software design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and agile environments.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and modern frontend tooling.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Kafka/RabbitMQ, and event-driven architectures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development of complex applications using React.js and Next.js.

• Architect scalable data models and APIs across microservices.
• Build cloud-native solutions on AWS including serverless and container orchestration.

[What the role is]We are seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our agile development team.
