Job summary

MRI Software Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to contribute to the development of web applications and APIs. You will collaborate with software engineers to deliver scalable interfaces and ensure data integrity across modules.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding in C#, ASP.NET Core, and front-end technologies, with opportunities to learn new skills on the job and grow within a supportive, diverse team in Singapore.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Entry Level or up to 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Tech stack: ASP.NET Framework 4.5 or .NET Core, C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL Server.
• Strong problem solving, logical reasoning, planning and time management skills.
• Effective communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop web application prototypes, new technologies and products.
• Build highly responsive and scalable web applications.
• Build fully functional web applications with interfaces to backend databases, writing clean and maintainable code.
• Create backend RESTful/SOAP APIs with interfaces to backend databases.
• Resolve defects and ensure accuracy, integrity, interoperability and completeness of the system.
• Automate periodic tasks for project requirements.
• Interface with third‑party systems to exchange data.
