Job summary

MRI Software in Singapore is hiring a software engineer to develop web application prototypes and explore new technologies. You will build highly responsive, scalable web apps with interfaces to backend databases, and deliver clean, testable APIs.

You’ll resolve defects, automate tasks, and work with consultants to validate features in a fast-paced environment. You will document, support existing projects, and collaborate across teams to ensure consistent coding and interfaces, while expanding

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• Entry level to 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop web application prototypes and new technologies.
• Build highly responsive and scalable web applications.
• Create interfaces to backend databases with clean, maintainable code.
• Develop backend RESTful/SOAP APIs with database interfaces.
• Resolve defects, ensure accuracy and interoperability of systems.
• Automate tasks and build data-exchange interfaces with third parties.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize performance.
• Prepare and deliver software documentation and updates.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and consultants to craft user stories and test scenarios.
