Job summary

Manpower Singapore is seeking an Automation/Software Engineer to incrementally develop software modules and diagnose customer issues within existing machine applications. You will investigate engineering changes, test new releases, and manage software releases with version control and issue tracking to ensure rapid responses across Asia.

The role requires strong .NET skills (C#, WCF, WPF), UML/state machines and Agile experience. Some travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Automation / CS / Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years relevant experience in automation / equipment industries.
• Significant practical experience in software engineering and testing.
• Experience with agile software development, quality control and test driven development.
• Proficiency in .NET framework (C#, WCF, WPF) using Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of UML and state machines.
• Experience with version control Mercurial / Git is nice to have.
• Experience with PLC language ST (IEC 61131) is nice to have.
