Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a software engineer for incremental development of modules in automation environments. You will analyze customer issues, implement solutions within the machine applications, and investigate engineering changes while testing new releases on actual equipment.

You will use version control and issue tracking for release management, ensuring quick responses to customers, and you may install beta releases at customer sites across Asia.

• 3–5 years relevant experience in automation / equipment industries.
• Significant practical experience in software engineering and testing.
• Experience with agile software development processes, quality control and test driven development.

Education

• BSc Degree in Automation / Computer science / Mechatronics Engineering

Work experience

• At least 3-5 years relevant experience in automation / equipment industries.
• Significant practical experience in software engineering and testing.
• Experience with agile software development processes, quality control and test driven development
• Expertise and methodology
• Proficiency in Microsoft .NET framework (C#, WCF, WPF) using Microsoft Visual Studio
• Knowledge of UML and state machines
• Experience with version control in Mercurial / GIT is nice to have
• Experience with PLClanguage ST (IEC 6-1131) is nice to have
