Zusammenfassung

JPT Opto-Electronics Pte. Ltd. invites applications for a Software Engineer to join our automation team. You will develop C# software for industrial automation machines and collaborate with customers to translate specifications into robust products.

You will participate in the full product lifecycle, maintain existing systems, and work with cross-functional teams to improve performance and productivity. Travel overseas may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Software Engineering or IT/Electronics required.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in C# programming using Object Oriented methods.
• Experience in wafer tester development preferred.
• Proficient with MS Visual Studio IDE.

Your Responsibilities

• Software development for Industrial Automation Machines using C#.

• Liaise with customers on machine specification.

• Involve in the complete product lifecycle from the specification to development, validation, documentation and maintenance for the automated equipment.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and constraints and provide holistic solution to restriction surfaced.

• Sustain existing products and support development of new products.

• Improve workflow of equipment for performance efficiency and higher productivity.

• Evaluate and implement other possible system for machine programming.

• Test and troubleshoot machines.

• Conduct machine training.

What We're Looking For

• At minimum a recognized Degree in Software Engineering or other IT/Electronics disciplines

• Has the work experience in C# programming using Object Oriented methodology and experience in wafer tester development is preferred

• Develop using MS Visual Studio IDE

• Willing to learn the knowledge in Industrial Automation, Control and Instrumentation

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position

• Very competent in software system analysis and design

• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage requirement changes and meet deadlines.

• A good team-player

• Willing to travel overseas when required
