Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. is seeking an Automation / Control Systems Engineer to support industrial automation projects in a process environment.

The role focuses on PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, and system integration at customer sites with a hands-on, project-driven approach. You will work with Rockwell Automation platforms, assist with testing, commissioning and documentation, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Automation.

Are you an Automation Engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, working with industrial control systems and bringing automation projects to life?

We are looking for a hands‑on Automation / Control Systems Engineer to support industrial automation and engineering projects within a specialised process environment. This opportunity is suitable for engineers with experience in PLC programming, SCADA, system integration or industrial control systems who are keen to develop their technical expertise through practical project work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop, configure and implement industrial automation and PLC control systems.

• Work with PLC, HMI and SCADA platforms to support equipment control and process automation.

• Assist with the integration of control systems, process equipment and building automation applications.

• Participate in system testing, site commissioning, troubleshooting and technical support.

• Work closely with project teams and customers to understand technical requirements and deliver automation solutions.

• Prepare technical documentation, test records and project-related reports.

• Support system verification and validation activities in accordance with relevant quality and industry standards.

• Travel to customer sites to support project implementation and commissioning activities.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, PLC programming or control systems engineering.

• Hands‑on experience with Rockwell Automation platforms, such as ControlLogix, Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000 or FactoryTalk.

• Experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, system integration or industrial equipment control.

• Exposure to BMS, process equipment, skid systems or environmental monitoring will be advantageous.

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences or other regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage.

• Familiarity with GMP/GAMP practices, system validation or commissioning documentation would be beneficial.

• Good troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.

• Willingness to work primarily at customer project sites.
