Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring a Software Engineer for the Co-Development unit to work on government projects. This fixed-term contract spans two years starting October 2026.

You will diagnose, develop, test, and implement across frontend and backend systems, with an emphasis on ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, and PostgreSQL, while collaborating with Product Managers and stakeholders in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proven experience in frontend and backend development with ReactJS and NodeJS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms such as AWS.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end diagnosis, development, testing, and implementation across frontend and backend systems.
• Investigate and resolve cross-layer defects, performance issues, and system incidents.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrated application features and services.
• Develop and enhance frontend applications using modern web technologies.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs, services, and business logic components.
• Implement database changes, optimisation, and integration activities.
• Support deployment, testing, and release activities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to deliver business requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Co-Development Business Unit is hiring for Software Engineer

This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is 2 years (from October 2026)

What will you do?

Requirements

The Full Stack Developer shall demonstrate proficiency in the following technologies or equivalent:

• Python (with Express)

• PostgreSQL
• AWS Cloud Services
• Minimum three (3) years of hands-on software development experience
• Proven experience in both frontend and backend application development
• Proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, and Python
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Experience developing and integrating APIs and web services
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within Agile software delivery teams
• Experience with geospatial or map-based applications using OpenLayers
• Experience implementing secure and scalable cloud-native solutions
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting enterprise or government systems
