Job summary

Sciente International Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop and scale secure, high‑performance digital platforms supporting critical digital infrastructure initiatives.

You will drive end‑to‑end solution development, contribute to system architecture and build scalable software while promoting engineering best practices and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
• Must have 5+ years of full-stack production-grade app development experience.
• Hands-on with TypeScript, React, Node.js and/or Golang.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance software services with focus on business value and usability.
• Own end-to-end design and implementation of complex systems including architecture and docs.
• Drive system design decisions and provide technical direction to the team.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop and scale secure, high-performance digital platforms supporting critical digital infrastructure initiatives. The role involves driving end-to-end solution development, contributing to system architecture, and building scalable, reliable software solutions while promoting engineering best practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related field;
• Must have min. 5 years of experience in full-stack software development, building, and maintaining production-grade applications;
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js and/or Golang;
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database design;
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP or Azure;
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform;
• Experience developing automated tests, including unit, integration and end-to-end testing;
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, drive system design and deliver complex engineering solutions;
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience building AI-native products or developing LLM-powered features;
• Familiarity with OLAP or large-scale analytical data stores;
• Experience with message queues and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka;
• Exposure to distributed systems and high-throughput transactional platforms.
