Job summary

Sedha Consulting is hiring a Microsoft Power Platform Low Code Engineer to design and deliver business applications and automations using Power Apps (Canvas) and Power Automate in Singapore. You will collaborate with the team to establish development standards, reusable components, and solution patterns as Power Platform capabilities grow.

Qualifications

  • Diploma Holder in IT or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ proven experience in software/application development, gained through roles such as software development, application management, systems implementation.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ proven experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate) and its backend technology stack as well as MS desktop tools and their integration.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business needs and challenges and recommend solutions that drive optimal product value.
  • Translate problem statements into implementable technical scopes, milestones, clear acceptance criteria, ensuring end-to-end traceability
  • Perform rapid prototyping to validate technical feasibility, de-risk solution options, and demonstrate effectiveness of digital solutions to stakeholders.
  • Reference best practices to proactively introduce approaches of Power Platform development going forward.
  • Document these practices and help build an internal knowledge base that the wider team can reference and build upon
  • Define release readiness/go-live criteria (functional, non-functional, security, and operational), ensuring approvals, documentation/runbooks, and support arrangements are in place prior to deployment.
  • Define, govern, and enforce architecture, technical design standards through design/code reviews, reusable patterns, performance optimisation of workflows, towards improving maintainability
  • Advocate engineering best practices (version control, automated testing, quality standards)
  • Work with users to define success metrics (KPIs) and track outcomes (e.g., adoption, performance, reliability, supportability), and drive delivery towards measurable results.
  • Added advantage to have some understanding of cybersecurity principles and data privacy/compliance requirements in government context.
  • Added advantage to have experience in application operations and production support

Job description

We are hiring for Microsoft Power Platform Low Code Engineer. You will join our team in designing and delivering business applications and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas) and Power Automate to address forms and workflows.


Scope of work

Develop, test, and deploy Power Apps canvas applications and Power Automate flows that meet business requirements. To work closely with existing team to play a foundational role in establishing the company’s development standards, reusable components, and solution patterns as we grow our Power Platform capability.


The candidate should have experience in working with Microsoft Power Platform projects to understand the environment and deployment constraints of MS Power Platform.


Key responsibilities of the Low Code Engineers are:

i. Able to understand business needs and challenges and recommend solutions that drive optimal product value.


ii. Translate problem statements into implementable technical scopes, milestones, clear acceptance criteria, ensuring end-to-end traceability


iii. Perform rapid prototyping to validate technical feasibility, de-risk solution options, and demonstrate effectiveness of digital solutions to stakeholders.
