Job summary

Zenith Infotech Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a seasoned software developer with at least five years of development experience and a strong SDLC background. The role requires hands-on work in object-oriented languages (C#, Python, or Java) and exposure to RESTful services, cloud platforms, and data security considerations.

The candidate will handle system integration, cloud deployments, serverless components, and robust data handling while maintaining documentation and supporting QA activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years of development experience with end-to-end SDLC.
• At least five years in OOP using C#, Python or Java; C#.Net preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries (triggers, joins, subqueries, stored procedures).
• Experience with system integration and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of cloud hosting concepts and major platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in data handling and database encryption.
• Experience with cloud architectures, serverless computing, and related tools.
• System support, maintenance, and documentation management.
• Familiarity with Git for source control and change management.
• Ability to coordinate QA activities and UAT feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develop or maintain system integration processes.
• Develop or maintain RESTful web services and messaging systems.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure; understand serverless concepts.
• Handle data processing between databases and legacy systems; ensure data security.
• Implement data ingestion and log management; use tools like Splunk or CloudWatch.

Job description

• 1. The Candidate shall possess at least a Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or equivalent qualification.

• 2. The Candidate shall have atleast five (5) years of development experience in the IT or Infocom industry, with exposure to end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• 3. The Candidate shall have atleast five (5) years of development experience using object- oriented programming language such as C#, Python or Java. C#.Net is preferred

• 4. The Candidate shall have hands‑on experience in writing SQL queries such as trigger, job, SQL joins, subqueries, stored procedures or views.

• 5. The Candidate shall have hands‑on experience with develop or maintain a system integration process:

• 6. Experience in developing or maintaining RESTful web services, message queueing systems, asynchronous processing, scheduled job, integrated pipeline with external system thru AWS Simple Storage Service (S3), Azure Blob Storage or file transfer protocol. Knowledge of data ingestion or log management to troubleshoot incidents using a log data analysis tool such as Splunk, CloudWatch, etc.

• 7. The Candidate shall have conceptual knowledge of cloud hosting concept, proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.

• 8. The Candidate is to be proficient in strong knowledge of handling data as follow:

  • a. Experience in data process between databases or from legacy system to new system.
  • b. Knowledge of database encryption and handle on sensitive data.

• 9. The Candidate is to be proficient in cloud implementation experience that includes:

  • a. Implementation or conceptual knowledge of cloud architectures includes understanding onload balances, relationships between endpoints, private link, DNS,domain knowledge,firewall.
  • b. Understand or experience on serverless computing platforms such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions..

• 10. The Candidate is to be proficient in system support and maintenance responsibility.

• 11. The Candidate is to be proficient in document management that includes:

  • a. Maintain and organise all project-related documents.
  • b. Ensure version control of important files.
  • c. Create and update project documentations needed.

• 12. The Candidate is to be proficient in utilizing development source code repository using GIT

• 13. The Candidate is to be proficient in quality control support and change request management that includes:

  • a. Perform impact assessment on the change requests or translate the requirements between users and vendors.
  • b. Help manage, organise and collect feedback of the user acceptance testing (UAT) process.
  • c. Assist in coordinating quality assurance activities.
  • d. Help communicate approved changes to relevant parties.
