Job summary

JOBLINE RESOURCES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior Software Engineering Lead to design and guide the software architecture, translate client requirements into solutions, and lead the development team to deliver high-quality systems on schedule.

The role requires 8+ years in C#, .NET, SQL, and SDLC, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will ensure documentation, review client requirements, and drive maintenance and improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills across all levels.
• Proficient in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS).
• At least 8 years of professional experience in C#, .NET, SQL, OOAD, Maintenance, SDLC, Database, ASP.NET WebForm, Javascript, Debugging, ORM, IoC, JIRA, Confluence.
• Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in application development with C#, .NET, SQL, fault finding, application system design.
• Creative problem-solving capabilities
• Highly organised and detail-oriented individual who produces results at high standards
• Able to work independently under pressure, pro-active, organized and results driven
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables

Responsibilities

• Design logic to be implemented for the software system based on client requirements.
• Ensure documentation are created and updated based on changes to the software system.
• Analyse existing business process structure and suggest enhancements within or integrated with the system.
• Understand system architecture and provide specs to the development team to meet client needs.
• Participate in requirements and reviews meetings with the client.
• Lead the development team in application development.
• Estimate and deliver development work to schedule.
• Adhere to development standards, policies and procedures.
• Evolve ECS solution to address current issues and new customer needs.
• Conduct user acceptance testing with the client based on the developed system.
• Review and improve maintenance processes including source control, build, environment, and production maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design logic to be implemented for the software system based on the requirements provided by the client
• Ensure documentation are created and updated based on the changes made to the software system
• Analyse the existing structure and flow of the business process within the software system and find out how enhancement can be made within or integrated with the system.
• Understand the architecture of the existing software system and give specifications to the development team involved in the development process so that the systems developed meets the needs of the client
• Understand and participate in requirements and reviews meeting with the client
• Lead the development team in the application development.
• Ensure that development of the software system are accurately estimated and delivered to schedule
• Ensure the development standards, policies and procedures are adhered to
• Evolve next generation ECS solution that resolve current issues and implement new business needs required by current and potential customers.
• Conduct user acceptance testing with the client based on the software system developed
• Review and constantly improve on the maintenance process, including source code management, build process/ environment, application support processes and production maintenance.

Requirements
