Job summary

Legend Arb Financial Group Limited invites a junior developer to join our Singapore team, working alongside traders and researchers to develop, maintain and optimise software that drives research, trading and business operations. You will contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from design and configuration to support and optimisation, ensuring high performance and reliability.

You should have 0-3 years of experience and at least one of C++, Java, JavaScript or Python; time-series

Qualifications

• 0-3 years working experience
• Strong proficiency in at least one language (C++, Java, JavaScript, Python)
• Experience with time-series databases or messaging brokers is a plus
• Prefer to work in a small, start-up environment

Legend Arb is recruiting a junior developer in Singapore who will be an integral part of the trading and development process. The role sits alongside quant researchers and traders at the firm, and you will be developing, maintaining and optimising software and systems critical to research, trading and other parts of the business, driving high performance and ensuring reliability.

• Development/configuration of new systems and applications


• Providing technical support to identify, investigate and troubleshoot production issues


• Identifying current IT infrastructure bottlenecks and planning for infrastructure upgrades and integrations.

• You are naturally curious – always asking why to better understand our users’ needs and infrastructural constraints.


• You are a passionate problem solver – you love digging deep and brainstorming with colleagues to come up with a robust solution for a problem.

• Added advantage if you have prior experience in time-series databases and in messaging broker platform.
