Job summary

Legend Arb Financial Group limited in Singapore is seeking a junior developer to join the trading and development team. You will help develop, maintain and optimise software and systems that support research, trading and the business, delivering high performance and reliability.

You will work alongside quant researchers and traders in a small, collaborative start-up–style environment, using languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript or Python.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years working experience with strong proficiency in at least one of the listed languages.
• Experience with time-series databases and messaging broker platforms is a plus.
• Prefer to work in a small, tight-knit team within a start-up environment.

Legend Arb is recruiting a junior developer in Singapore who will be an integral part of the trading and development process. The role sits alongside quant researchers and traders at the firm, and you will be developing, maintaining and optimising software and systems critical to research, trading and other parts of the business, driving high performance and ensuring reliability.

What you will be working on:

• Development/configuration of new systems and applications
• Providing technical support to identify, investigate and troubleshoot production issues
• Identifying current IT infrastructure bottlenecks and planning for infrastructure upgrades and integrations.
