Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring for an experienced software engineer specializing in Windows-based C++ applications for automated machine processes. You will design, develop, and maintain robust machine control software, focusing on multi-threaded performance and integration with hardware teams.

The role requires collaboration across engineering disciplines, adherence to SDLC, and ongoing improvement of software quality.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in programming on Windows (XP and above).
• Proficient in C++, VC++, MFC and SQL with strong OOP skills.
• Experience in developing multi-threaded control software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for automated machine equipment.
• Develop C++ machine control apps ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance.
• Implement and enhance multi-threaded control software for high-speed, precision equipment.
• Integrate software with machine systems with hardware and process engineering teams.
• Improve equipment performance via CIP, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Support system integration, testing, and commissioning.
• Provide technical support for field issues, troubleshooting, and software upgrades.
• Participate in design and code reviews and documentation for quality and compliance.
• Ensure software development follows best practices and SDLC.
