Job summary

ALTROCKS TECH PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior software architect to lead system design across large-scale projects. You will own architectural decisions, oversee end-to-end delivery, and stay hands-on with core development to ensure robust, secure solutions.

Candidates should have 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years as architect, and experience in government/defense domains or critical infrastructure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in software/system development; 3+ years as architect.
• Proven lead-architect on at least 2 end-to-end systems (govt/defense preferred).
• Hands-on coding across Java, C#, C++, Python; actively debugs.

Job description

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years hands-on software / system development, with 3+ years as an architect.
• Proven track record as lead architect on at least 2 systems delivered end-to-end, preferably government, defense or CII.
• Still codes and debugs hands-on (e.g. Java, C#/.NET, C++ or Python) across OS, network and application layers.
• Strong in system integration (APIs, message brokers), Linux/Windows, virtualisation / containers and networking.
• Good knowledge of security, privacy and compliance in the government domain.
• Able to explain technical issues clearly to management, customers and vendors.
• Good to have: C2 / command centre, sensor (radar, EO/IR) or GIS experience; TOGAF, CISSP or similar.
