Job summary

ALTROCKS TECH PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced software architect who can lead the design and delivery of complex, end-to-end systems. The role requires hands-on coding across multiple languages and platforms, with strong focus on security, privacy and compliance in government or critical domains.

You will work across OS, network and application layers, drive system integration, and communicate clearly with management, customers and vendors. TOGAF/CISSP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years hands-on software/system development with 3+ years as an architect.
• Led architecture on at least 2 end-to-end systems, preferably gov/defense/critical infrastructure.
• Proficient in Java, C#, C++, or Python across OS, network and app layers.
• Strong system integration skills and knowledge of security, privacy and compliance.
• Able to explain technical issues clearly to stakeholders; additional tech like TOGAF or CISSP is a plus.

Job description

• - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• - 8+ years hands-on software / system development, with 3+ years as an architect.
• - Proven track record as lead architect on at least 2 systems delivered end-to-end, preferably government, defense or CII.
• - Still codes and debugs hands-on (e.g. Java, C#/.NET, C++ or Python) across OS, network and application layers.
• - Strong in system integration (APIs, message brokers), Linux/Windows, virtualisation / containers and networking.
• - Good knowledge of security, privacy and compliance in the government domain.
• - Able to explain technical issues clearly to management, customers and vendors.
• - Good to have: C2 / command centre, sensor (radar, EO/IR) or GIS experience; TOGAF, CISSP or similar.
