Job summary

Unison Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Software & Applications Manager in Singapore to lead delivery, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise applications across banking, fintech, and regulated environments.

You will collaborate with business, technology, risk, compliance, and vendors to deliver scalable solutions. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end delivery, modernization efforts, data integration, and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years in enterprise applications, business systems, technology consulting, or software delivery.
• Experience with application modernization, system integration, and full SDLC delivery.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, JSON, data mapping, and application interfaces.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira or Azure DevOps tools, SIT, and UAT processes.
• Experience in banking, payments, fintech, insurance, or other regulated environments.
• Exposure to Generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, or AI-enabled enterprise apps.
• Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end application delivery including requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and production rollout.
• Manage enhancement and modernization initiatives for enterprise applications across payments, risk, financial, and business platforms.
• Analyze and manage application integrations using REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and data mapping.
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression, and end-to-end testing for production readiness.
• Collaborate with software engineering, data engineering, QA, business units, and external vendors across the SDLC.
• Support AI/LLM-enabled enterprise applications, including RAG solutions and prompt engineering.
• Drive Agile delivery practices, manage product backlogs, maintain documentation, and lead continuous improvement.

• Manage enhancement and modernization initiatives for enterprise applications across payments, risk, financial, and business platforms to improve system capabilities
• Analyze and manage application integrations using REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and data mapping to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
• Lead system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), regression, and end-to-end application testing to ensure production readiness and obtain stakeholder sign-off
• Collaborate with software engineering, data engineering, QA, business units, and external vendors throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to drive project success
• Support AI/LLM-enabled enterprise applications, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions, AI-assisted workflows, and prompt engineering to enhance application intelligence
• Drive Agile delivery practices, manage product backlogs, maintain application documentation, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize team performance

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise applications, business systems, technology consulting, or software delivery
• Strong experience in application modernization, system integration, and full SDLC delivery
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, JSON, data mapping, and application interfaces
