Job summary

ST ANDREW'S MISSION HOSPITAL is seeking a dedicated social services assistant to support clinical and community-based programmes for clients with autism. You will assist in casework, administrative tasks, and transition planning under supervision.

Responsibilities include crisis response, data collection for research, coordinating admissions-related activities, and supporting group work, programmes, and community development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent qualification).
• Genuine passion for working with persons with autism, or a strong interest in contributing to the disability sector.
• Experience in a disability or special needs setting is a bonus.
• Collaborative team player with good communication skills, able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis situations based on organisation's standard operating procedures.
• Support in identifying areas of improvement in models of care and service delivery based on evidence-based practices.
• Support in data collection for research projects.
• Support the implementation of standards of care, organisational health policies, procedures and programmes.
• Perform administrative duties such as taking minutes at all relevant meetings, handle phone calls and emails enquiries and monitor budget spending.
• Provide administrative and statistical duties related to admissions, liaising with SGEnable, SPED Schools, MOE and MSF as required.
