Job summary

The Huat Group is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Intern to help grow its online presence across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook. You will plan, create, and schedule content, capture and edit short-form videos, and write captions that reflect our brand voice.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Comfortable with Canva or CapCut editing tools.
• Good written communication and a creative eye.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and schedule engaging content (posts, reels, stories, carousels).
• Capture and edit short-form videos and photos at team events and activities.
• Write captions that reflect our brand voice and culture.
• Support recruitment and employer branding content to attract young talent.
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages.
• Track basic performance metrics and suggest ideas to improve reach.
• Keep up with social media trends and bring fresh content ideas to the team.
