Job summary

WEcruit Pte Ltd is seeking a Social Care Officer in Singapore to oversee the care and well-being of residents. You will plan, coordinate and supervise daily activities, ensuring a clean, safe environment and high quality of life.

Regular resident interviews and accurate record-keeping are required as part of daily duties. The role involves liaising with internal teams and external service providers to address residents' needs, with a compassionate, patient approach to varied care requirements.

Responsibilities for Social Care Officer

• Plan, coordinate and supervise the care and well-being of residents.
• Organise and implement programmes and activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Conduct regular resident interviews and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor the upkeep of equipment, facilities and the overall environment.
• Ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to address residents' needs.
• Monitor residents' general well-being and escalte concerns when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation relating to residents' care and daily activities.
• Support the implementation of operational policies, procedures and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications for Social Care Officer

• Minimum Diploma or GCE 'A' Level qualification.
• Relevant experience in social services, residential care, nursing homes or supporting vulnerable individuals will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents.
• Patient, compassionate and comfortable working with individuals with different care needs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Able to support residents with their daily care needs and activities.
