Job summary

ETHOS SEARCH ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced semiconductor architect to drive IP technology roadmaps and collaborate across architecture, FPGA, and design teams.

The role emphasizes low-power leadership, integration of IP, and ensuring robust SoC functionality from pre-silicon to mass production. You will work with customers to align on features and competitive positioning, while coordinating with software and physical design teams to deliver optimized hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Analytical knowledge of low-power tech for semiconductor leadership.
• Strong collaboration with architecture, FPGA, and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Write architecture specs including flow diagrams and power/performance models.
• Engage customers to align features and positioning.
• Support use case and test case development.
• Collaborate with FPGA team on subsystem bring-up (audio, imaging/display, high-speed links).
• Partner with software architecture on data/control flows, APIs, and hardware abstraction layers.
• Coordinate with physical design for robust, optimal implementation.
• Debug RTL and gate-level issues with the design team.
• Support post-silicon analysis and delivery of SoC functionality.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Write architecture specs: flow diagrams/sequences, power/performance models, pseudocode, and system/external power-management interface specs.
• Engage customers to align on key features and competitive positioning.
• Support use case and test case development.
• Work with the FPGA team on subsystem/interface bring-up (audio, imaging/display, high-speed links).
• Partner with software architecture on data/control flows, APIs, and hardware abstraction layers.
• Partner with physical design for robust, optimal implementation.
• Debug issues with the design team using RTL and gate-level simulation.
• Support post-silicon analysis and delivery of SoC functionality for mass production.

Requirements

• Partner with key internal stakeholders to drive new IP technology/product roadmaps.
• Analyze low-power technology and applications to extend leadership in the semicon technology space.
• Define the technology roadmap, including IP assessment and integration.
• Build broad, deep knowledge of architectural history/direction to serve as the primary architectural guide for new design centre.
