Job summary

PCS SECURITY PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a SOC Engineer in Singapore to troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain SOC systems, with hands-on SIEM expertise and case management experience. The role involves liaising with external vendors, configuring and fine-tuning security systems, and overseeing new system design and deployment.

The candidate should be able to train analysts on usage and functionality, have a minimum of 2 years in SOC, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering.
• At least 2 years of SOC experience with hands-on SIEMs and case management tools.
• Familiar with SOC SOP and security concepts.

Job description

Education /Experience:

• Minimally possess a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Computer Engineering


• Minimally 2 years of relevant working experience in SOC as a SOC engineer with hands on experience in SIEMS and case management tools administration and management


• Familiar with SOC Process SOP


• Preferably with SANS 400 certified

Skill sets:

• Hands-on experience in the setup and writing of SIEMS parsers (program)


• Hands-on experience in the provisioning and interpretation of log and network packet data (incl. SNARE,CEF, PCAP and Netflow)


• Minimally possess the foundation in Internet protocols (TCP/IP) and routing protocol


• Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Windows administration, virtual machine, storage & backup system, network & security management


• Have experience and knowledge about security threat and attack countermeasure


• Possess analytical problem solvingand troubleshooting skill


• Effective time management and organizational skill


• Effective (written, oral, listening) communication skill


• Preferably trained at system management level on the SIEMS, Breach Detection System and Network Forensic System
