Job summary

PCSS is seeking a SOC engineer in Singapore to troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain systems, liaise with vendors, configure and fine-tune systems, and oversee design, implementation, and management of new systems. The role includes training analysts on system usage and functionality.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor degree in IT/CE and at least 2 years of SOC experience with SIEMS and case management tools, along with strong analytical and time-management skills.

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Computer Engineering
• 2 years of relevant working experience in SOC as a SOC engineer with hands on experience in SIEMS and case management tools administration and management
• Possess analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skill
• Effective time management and organizational skill

Job Description:

• Troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain systems

Technical Skill sets:

• Hands-on experience in the setup and writing of SIEMS parsers (program)
• Hands-on experience in the provisioning and interpretation of log and network packet data (incl. SNARE, CEF, PCAP and Netflow)
• Possess the foundation in Internet protocols (TCP/IP) and routing protocol
• Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Windows administration, virtual machine, storage & backup system, network & security management
• Have experience and knowledge about security threat and attack countermeasure
• Preferably trained at system management level on the SIEMS, Breach Detection System and Network Forensic System
