Job summary

MNC Industrial Automation Company is seeking an engineer to install, test, commission, and maintain automation systems onsite. You will set up electronics controllers, PCs, and software, perform on-site buy-offs, analyze failures, and repair electrical components.

The role requires strong fault analysis and the ability to work with customers with minimal supervision. The position emphasizes independent work, high integrity, and timely service reporting, with a focus on ensuring seamless customer

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with electrical components such as servo motors and robots.
• Experience with installing software and configuring PCs/machines.

Responsibilities

• Automation system installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Setup electronics controllers, PC, and install software.
• Onsite machine buy-off per customer requirements.
• Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes for repair.
• Read machine logfiles to identify problem root causes.
• Repairs of electrical components and robot software setup.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Respond to phone and onsite support requests per SLA.
• Prepare and present accurate service reports promptly.

Job Scope

• Automation system installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Setup electronics controllers, PC, and install software.
• Perform onsitemachine buy-off as per agreed customer requirements
• Analyzeequipment failures and identify root causes to effectively repair equipmentfailures.
• Able to analyzeelectrical/electronic circuit, read machine logfiles to identify root cause forthe problem
• Able to repairelectrical components, setup robot software, PC software.
• Establish aseamless interface between customers and company.
• Demonstrate highintegrity and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Spearhead customer issues and coordinate with internal departments and customer stakeholders to resolve them efficiently. Escalate to management if necessary.
• Respond to phone support and onsite support requests in accordance with SLA.
• Prepare and present accurate, detailed service reports in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experiences in automation systems setup or service support
• Proficiency in electrical components such as servo motors and robots
• Proficiency in installing software, configuration and setting up PCs and machines
