Job summary

MNC Industrial Automation Company in Woodlands, Singapore, seeks an on-site Automation Service Engineer to install, test, commission, and maintain advanced automation systems.

You will set up controllers, PCs, and software, perform onsite buy-off, analyze failures, read schematics and logs, and repair components while coordinating with customers and internal teams. The role offers variable bonus and excellent welfare.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant automation systems setup or service support.
• Proficiency with servo motors and robotic systems.
• Proficient in installing software and configuring PCs and machines.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and maintain automation systems.
• Set up electronics controllers, PCs, and install software.
• Perform onsite machine buy-off per customer requirements.
• Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes to repair.
• Read electrical/electronic schematics and machine logs to troubleshoot.
• Repair electrical components and set up robot software.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Respond to phone and onsite support requests per SLA.
• Prepare and present accurate service reports promptly.

Job Scope

• Automation system installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Setup electronics controllers, PC, and install software.
• Perform onsitemachine buy-off as per agreed customer requirements
• Analyzeequipment failures and identify root causes to effectively repair equipmentfailures.
• Able to analyzeelectrical/electronic circuit, read machine logfiles to identify root cause forthe problem
• Able to repairelectrical components, setup robot software, PC software.
• Establish aseamless interface between customers and company.
• Demonstrate highintegrity and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Spearhead customer issues and coordinate with internal departments and customer stakeholders to resolve them efficiently. Escalate to management if necessary.
• Respond to phone support and onsite support requests in accordance with SLA.
• Prepare and present accurate, detailed service reports in a timely manner.

Requirement

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experiences in automation systems setup or service support
• Proficiency in electrical components such as servo motors and robots
• Proficiency in installing software, configuration and setting up PCs and machines
