Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to oversee supplier audits, CAR tracking, and materials quality for raw materials and packaging.

The role focuses on evaluating suppliers, establishing inspection specifications, leading 8D problem-solving, and driving continuous improvements in the green supply chain. A university degree in a science/engineering field and 1–5 years semiconductor QA experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• University level degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials or related fields.
• 1–5 years semiconductor QA experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in quality control methodologies, including 8D.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute supplier audits and CAR tracking for spare parts and parts repair/parts clean vendors.
• Execute evaluations for new suppliers/materials, and quality improvements.
• Manage quality/reliability-related matters in material review meetings.
• Establish specifications for incoming material quality inspections, review inspection results, and adjust inspection frequency.
• Conduct evaluations of raw material quality systems.
• Handle and follow up on corrective and preventive actions for raw material quality anomalies discovered in the process.
• Evaluate supplier quality assessments.
• Control quality for supplier process changes.
• Implement control and inspection of prohibited substances related to the green supply chain for raw materials and packaging materials.

• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and task-management skills
