Job summary

PSA Corporation Limited is seeking a dynamic HSS Duty Manager to strengthen security, safety, and emergency response capabilities at the Singapore port. The role focuses on leadership in security operations, emergency response, and readiness, with an emphasis on innovation and digitalisation.

You will mentor teams, conduct drills, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance and safety standards across the port. This permanent role is based in Singapore and requires shift duties.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preferably: leadership roles in SCDF or SPF.
• With Emergency Medical Technician, HazMat, Marine or security background.
• Certifications such as Fire Safety Manager or Drone license are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee port-wide security operations and compliance.
• Coordinate with Home Team agencies.
• Conduct threat assessments, vulnerability studies and Red Teaming exercises.
• Lead firefighting, rescue, HazMat and medical emergencies.
• Ensure safety discipline and operational control on the ground.
• Manage readiness of facilities and emergency assets.
• Oversee procurement, testing and certification of life-saving equipment.
• Support smart-system integration and automation projects.
• Mentor officers and promote a safety-first culture.
• Lead drills, exercises, and continuous improvement initiatives.
