Job summary

Evonik Methionine SEA Pte. Ltd. invites a Project Engineer to drive digital operations on site in Singapore.

You will collaborate with the global Smart Operations team to optimize production, enhance efficiency and sustainability, and manage projects from concept through implementation. The role requires chemical or automation engineering background and 5+ years in chemical production or project engineering, with a bias toward digital tools and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s in Chemical or Automation Engineering.
Experience in chemical production or project engineering is required.
Familiarity with Smart Operations and digital tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure implementation and reliable operations of digital technologies on site in coordination with global Smart Operations group.
Provide process and application expertise for Smart Operations in plant context.
Initiate studies and projects to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Monitor Smart Operations dashboards and ensure high utilization and quick corrective actions.
Support training, maintenance and continuous improvement of Smart Operations applications.
Prepare scope, schedules, cost estimates and business cases for projects and technology pilots.
