Job summary

Singapore Public Service is seeking a hands-on System Interface & Integration Programmer to lead smart building projects across campuses. You will develop, integrate and commission lighting, ACMV and IoT systems, coordinating with SI vendors to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires strong knowledge of building systems and protocols (Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, KNX, TCP/IP) and a track record of deploying dashboards and automation workflows in an on-site setting in Singapore.

Qualifications

Degree in an engineering or IT field with relevant building systems exposure.
Experience in building systems integration, BMS/SCADA or IoT.
Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networks.
Ability to read control schematics and system drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Develop automated control strategies for occupancy, temperature and energy use.
Design data extraction for centralized Smart FM dashboard across campuses.
Prepare integration framework including communication, naming conventions, graphics, and storage.
Develop in-house software, dashboards and automation workflows.
Manage SI vendor to configure controllers, edge devices and IoT gateways.
Support data collection, analytics and digital twin initiatives.
Oversee testing and commissioning to ensure reliable operation.
Troubleshoot issues post-testing and commissioning.
