Job summary

GOVTech in Singapore seeks a hands-on Deputy/Assistant Manager, System Interface & Integration Programmer to develop, integrate and commission smart building systems across satellite campuses and HQ. You will manage SI vendors, configure controllers, edge devices and IoT gateways while developing dashboards and automation workflows.

The role requires at least 3 years in building systems integration (BMS/SCADA/IoT) and strong knowledge of Modbus, BACnet, MQTT and KNX.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in building systems integration, BMS/SCADA/IoT
Experience in testing and commissioning of smart building systems
Ability to read control schematics and architecture drawings
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with integrating sensors, edge devices and IoT gateways

Responsibilities

Smart Building Implementation and integration across campuses
Develop automated control strategies based on occupancy, temperature, and energy consumption
Design data extraction concepts for centralized dashboards
Prepare integration framework: communication, naming conventions, graphics and database storage
Develop in-house software, dashboards and automation workflows
Manage SI vendor to configure controllers and IoT gateways
Support data collection, analytics and digital twin initiatives
Oversee testing and commissioning to ensure reliable operation before handover
Troubleshoot communication and control issues
