Job summary

BILLIGENCE ASIA PTE. LTD.

seeks a Smart Building Solutions & Innovation Engineer to envision, architect, design and implement next-generation Smart Building solutions across Group properties and customer environments. You will work across the full lifecycle—from discovering use cases to proof-of-concepts to solution architecture, system integration and deployment—collaborating with business teams, technology partners, startups, vendors and customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in computer, electrical, information technology, telecommunications, computer science, building services or related field.
• Basic knowledge or hands-on exposure to IoT devices, sensors and gateways.
• Familiarity with cloud/edge computing and APIs.
• Interest in AI, automation, data, sustainability and smart buildings.

Responsibilities

• Translate business challenges into practical smart building solutions.
• Design and document architecture, integration and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners and customers across multiple domains.
• Support site installations, testing, commissioning and handover.

As a Smart Building Solutions & Innovation Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for envisioning, architecting, designing and implementing next-generation Smart Building solutions across the Group properties and customer environments.

You will work across the full innovation and engineering lifecycle — from discovering new use cases, evaluating emerging technologies and developing proof-of-concepts, to solution architecture, design, system integration, implementation and continuous optimisation.

Working with business teams, technology partners, start-ups, vendors and customers, you will have opportunities to work with technologies such as IoT, AI, data analytics, automation, digital twins, smart workplace, sustainability and intelligent building systems.

This role is for someone who is curious about technology, enjoys solving real-world problems and wants to see their ideas progress from concept → prototype → deployment → scale.

• Evaluatedifferenttechnologiesandsolutionoptionsbasedonfunctionality,scalability, interoperability, cybersecurity, reliability,maintainabilityand user experience.
• Developarchitecturediagrams,technicaldocumentation,systemintegrationrequirementsand engineering deliverables.

• Takesolutionsfromconceptanddesignintoreal-worldimplementation.
• Workwithvendors,systemintegrators,contractorsandinternaltechnologyteamsthroughout installation, configuration, integration, testing,commissioningand handover.

Education and Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Building Services Engineering or a related engineering/technology discipline.
