Job summary

Sengkang General Hospital is seeking a dedicated polysomnography technician to support quality sleep studies. You will prepare patients, calibrate equipment, collect and interpret sleep data, and assist CPAP therapy fitting and mask fitting. The role also includes generating sleep study reports and participating in quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities require flexibility for shift duties and a strong attention to patient safety and data accuracy within a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in life sciences or related health sciences.
• Experience in EEG studies is an advantage.
• Able to work in shifts.

Job description

You will be responsible for performing quality polysomnography services which include the preparation of patients for sleep study, calibration of equipment, collection of sleep study data and interpretation of data. You will ensure the safe and accurate use of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy and appropriate mask fitting. In addition, you will assist in generating sleep study reports, as well as participate in quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science or health sciences related discipline.
• Relevant experience in electroencephalogram (EEG) studies will be an added advantage
• Able to perform shift duties.
