Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow to join the Sleep and Cognition Laboratory, Centre for Sleep and Cognition, in the Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The fellow will plan, execute, and analyze projects with multimodal physiological and behavioural data, contribute to manuscript preparation, and support lab operations.

Qualifications

• PhD required in neuroscience, cognitive science, computer science or psychology.
• Proficiency in Matlab, R and Python.
• Strong data analysis, programming and statistics skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and leadership/coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis: develop models and pipelines for multimodal data (PSG/EEG, wearables).
• Coordinate research projects and participant recruitment; manage data collection.
• Prepare and present scientific manuscripts at conferences.
• Oversee PSG/EEG equipment setup and SOP development.
• Assist PI with lab management and administrative duties.
