Job summary

ZOHA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a carpenter to read blueprints and instructions, measure and cut wood, and install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.

You will inspect and replace damaged frameworks, follow safety rules, collaborate with project managers and other trades, maintain tools, and perform related duties as assigned. This role is based on-site in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or instructions to build or repair various items, including furniture, cabinets, doors, and windows
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand and power tools
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter's hand and power tools
• Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradesmen to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maintain tools and equipment, and ensure they are in good working order
• Perform other related duties as assigned
