Job summary

SINDIA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist the Operations Manager in monitoring progress and manpower on site in Singapore.

The role involves supervising the site team, planning schedules, resolving drawing discrepancies, coordinating with subcontractors, vendors and clients, and forecasting labour and material needs to ensure on-time completion. Qualifications

• At least 6 years of electrical construction supervising experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid technical competencies and knowledge in construction works.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise site team to ensure compliance to quality procedures and workmanship standards.
• Prepare basic work schedules for site team to follow.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies prior to start of works.
• Coordinate between sub-contractors, vendors and clients; anticipate labour, material and equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Plan all site works including programs, construction methods; forecast equipment, material and manpower requirements; control wastage.
• Oversee day-to-day site management.
• Prepare daily site reports.

Job Description & Requirements

The Site Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager to manage the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Monitor and supervise site team to ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship.
• Preparation of basic work schedule for the site team to follow accordingly.
• Ability to resolve drawing discrepancies prior to start.
• Involve in coordination between sub-contractors / vendors / clients and anticipate labour / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Involve in planning all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control material usage and wastages .
• Day-to-day management of the site.
• Preparing daily reports.
