Job summary

JOBALLY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor to support daily site operations on upcoming construction projects in Singapore. You will assist the Senior Site Supervisor in planning, organizing, and directing activities to ensure progress and safety.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, quality control, and effective coordination with subcontractors, labourers, and suppliers to meet project timelines and standards. Fresh graduates are welcome with relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma, NITEC or higher in Building & Construction or related discipline.
• Open to fresh graduates; candidates with site experience have advantage.
• Basic knowledge of building construction processes, drawings, and site operations.
• Good understanding of workplace safety; safety certifications are a plus.
• Ability to monitor progress and follow up on corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Site Supervisor in planning and directing daily site operations.

Site Supervisor

Site Management

• Assist the Senior Site Supervisor in planning, organizing, and directing daily site operations.
• Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Team Coordination

• Collaborate with various teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers, to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
• Provide guidance and support to site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Safety Compliance

• Promote a culture of safety on-site by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and practices.
• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions, ensuring all team members are aware of safety procedures.
• Responsible for the safe work environment for the work area under your control.

Quality Control

• Oversee the quality of work performed on-site, ensuring that it meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work progress, safety inspections, and incidents.
• Assist in preparing reports for project stake holders, providing updates on site conditions and progress.

Problem Solving

• Identify and address potential issues that may impact project timelines or quality, proactively seeking solutions.
• Liaise with the Senior Site Supervisor /Construction Manager to escalation significant concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.

Other Duties

• To ensure compliance of Company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
• To ensure full compliance with WSHA and its Regulations.
• Any other duties as instructed by the Management

Requirements

• Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC or relevant qualifications in Building & Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Open to fresh graduates; candidates with relevant construction site experience will have an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of building construction processes, construction drawings and site operations.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and health requirements, with relevant safety certifications being an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with subcontractors, workers, suppliers and project teams.
• Able to monitor work progress, identify site issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Responsible, proactive, willing to learn and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Able to work on construction sites and meet project deadlines.
• Candidates with relevant site supervision experience may be considered for senior positions, depending on their qualifications and experience.
