Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Safety Officer for a 6-month construction/ cleanroom project at Mapletree Hi-Tech Park. The role requires implementing and maintaining WSH policies, ensuring site compliance and coordinating safety across teams.

You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks and safety trainings, liaising with authorities, clients and subcontractors. The contract is 6 months with potential extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Registered WSH Officer registration is advantageous.
• Experience in construction, cleanroom, M&E or engineering project safety.
• Familiar with WSH Act, regulations and site safety requirements.
• Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation and safety documentation.
• Ability to conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and site inspections.
• Strong communication and coordination with site teams, subcontractors and clients.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to follow up on corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain WSH policies, procedures, records and documentation.
• Ensure project site compliance with WSH regulations, company rules and safe work practices.
• Conduct site inspections, safety briefings, orientations and toolbox meetings.
• Identify workplace risks and ensure risk assessments and control measures are in place.
• Lead safety coordination with subcontractors and site teams.
• Assist in safety audits and investigate incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.
• Monitor safety performance, trends and improvement actions.
• Organise safety training, awareness programmes and mandatory safety initiatives.
• Liaise with authorities, clients, consultants and internal teams on WSH matters.
• Coordinate WSH meetings, audits and inspections, including minutes and follow-up actions.
