Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join a civil construction team in Singapore. You will plan and advise on accident prevention, implement WSH programs, and ensure compliance with safety processes on site.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in building or civil works, preferably with HDB projects. You must be self-driven, able to meet tight deadlines, and willing to work shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience in building or civil construction, preferably in HDB.
• Self-driven with ability to work within tight deadlines; willing to shift work if required.
• Team player with hands-on approach and meticulous work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Plan and advise management on accident prevention and safe work methods.
• Deploy Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) programs.
• Ensure safety compliance and processes across all workers.
• Assist in managing site operations, workers and subcontractors.
• Communicate effectively to all levels and attend daily site meetings.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct safety committee meetings and safety audits for reporting.
• Hold periodic toolbox talks.
• Establish quality safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure PPE is used at all times on site.
• Oversee site administration including safety and materials control.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager/Superior.
