Job summary

SENTRON ENGINEERING (S) PTE LTD is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support and coordinate workplace health and safety activities at construction sites in Singapore. The role ensures compliance with safety policies, project requirements, and WSH regulations, while promoting a strong safety culture among employees, workers, and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will conduct safety inspections, manage risk assessments, deliver inductions and toolbox talks, assist in incident investigations,

Qualifications

• Possess a relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) qualification or certification.
• Relevant construction safety experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction hazards, Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures (SWP), PPE, and workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, RA, SWP and PPE requirements.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Monitor site activities and enforce safe work practices.
• Assist investigations of incidents and near misses; suggest corrective actions.
• Prepare incident and inspection reports and maintain safety records.
