Job summary

OCEANDA HR PTE. LTD. seeks a capable Site Engineer to plan, supervise, and coordinate mechanical works at construction project sites in Singapore.

You will monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with project specs. The role requires interpreting drawings and documents, coordinating with clients and contractors, maintaining schedules and records, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in mechanical engineering, construction projects, or site engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate mechanical engineering works at construction project sites.
• Monitor the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of mechanical works.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure mechanical installations comply with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare work schedules, progress reports, technical documentation, and project records.
• Identify technical issues during construction and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor the performance and operation of mechanical equipment and support troubleshooting activities when required.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available to meet project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and company policies.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform other engineering and site-related duties as assigned by management.
