Job summary

Woh Hup Group is seeking a Site Foreman to assist the Deputy Project Manager/Project Manager in coordinating with sub-contractors and workers for formwork, concrete, rebar and reinforcement works on site.

The role requires leading workers, checking drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications and maintaining safety and housekeeping at the site. Candidate should have at least 3 years of building engineering experience and familiarity with drawings and details.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of building engineering experience.
• Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details.

Responsibilities

• Check and study drawings before disseminating information to sub-cons and workers.
• Lead workers to carry out basement lean concrete and prepare for formwork / rebar work
• Carry out inspection and casting of basement slab/wall/column.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety provision at site working area for sub-cons and workers to carry out tasks.
• Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hours returns and coordinate in all aspects of site issues.
• Coordinate and monitor the availability and on time delivery of materials/equipment to complete the construction work within schedule.
• Submit daily allocation sheets.
• Receive and order materials from store.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
