Job summary

CAREER STORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Engineer focused on UPS systems to support on-site construction, commissioning and testing. You will read electrical drawings, liaise with sub-contractors, and review specifications for smooth project delivery.

The role requires engineering design capability, load and fault calculations, and the ability to resolve on-site issues while ensuring compliance with shop drawings and standards. A strong team player with good communication is essential.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in project management handling for industrial or commercial purpose.
• Experience in MRT Project is a bonus.
• Knowledge in designing phases or street lighting works related is a bonus
• Good communication and interaction skill.
• A team player, possess problem-solving, coordination & management skills.
• Working in UPS related industry with at least 1 year’s experience
• Project Management and Site Co-ordination onSite

Responsibilities

• Read electrical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure smooth on-site execution.
• Review contracts and prepare variation orders as required.
• Perform engineering design, load and fault calculations.
• Resolve installation, commissioning and testing issues.
• Ensure works follow approved shop drawings, method statements and specs.
• Attend site meetings with clients/sub-contractors to address matters.
• Assist Project/Site/Construction Manager in monitoring progress.

Job Scope

• Capable of reading electrical and drawing schematic diagram drawing.
• To coordinate and liaise with sub-contractor on project related matters to ensure to smooth execution of site work.
• Able to review and understand contract specification, prepare and submit variation order as according to the requirement.
• Able to perform engineering design, load and fault calculation.
• Able to resolve technical issues related to installation, commissioning and testing
• Ensure the installation works are done according to the approved shop drawing, method statement, project specifications and relevant standards.
• Attend regular site meetings with Clients/Sub-contractors to discuss and resolve the site matters.
• To assist Project/Site/Construction Manager on handling and monitoring the project progress.

SKILLS | EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
