Job summary

Shin Khai Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to quality standards and WSHE regulations. The role requires effective communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain project progress and safety.

The candidate should be resourceful, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects with strong planning and time management skills, working on-site in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years in structural steel, reinforced concrete, architectural, MEP, or roof paneling works.
• MS Office for project documentation and communication.
• Flexible, self-motivated, independent and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to quality standards, WSHE regulations, and authority compliance.
• Engage with client representatives and consultants using strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Support and prepare project progress reports on time, cost and quality per contract terms.
• Coordinate across disciplines and construction teams to align drawings and specifications.
• Manage action items from meetings and provide guidance to subcontractors on technical aspects.
• Identify errors, defects, and variations and support testing and commissioning where needed.
