Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to support daily construction activities on civil/building projects in Singapore. You will supervise on-site works, review drawings and specifications, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires coordinating with subcontractors and consultants to keep projects on schedule. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, and preparing progress reports.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
At least 1 year of site experience in civil/building construction.
Good understanding of construction methods, drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work on-site and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor daily site construction activities to ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of works.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
Assist in resolving technical issues and troubleshooting on-site problems.
Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site safety procedures.
Review and verify as-built drawings, method statements, and other technical documents.
Coordinate material and resource requirements to support construction schedules.
Liaise with relevant authorities and consultants as required.
