Job summary

DINBUILD CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction activities on site, ensuring projects are on schedule, meet quality standards, and comply with approved drawings and specifications.

The role requires collaboration with project managers, contractors, consultants, and site workers, with a focus on safety, documentation, and timely reporting of progress and issues. Proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction processes, site operations, and engineering practices.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and handle a fast-paced construction site environment.
• Candidates who are proficient in both English and Chinese are preferred.
• Experience in Singapore construction projects will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site in line with drawings and specifications.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications and engineering documents.
• Monitor progress and quality, reporting delays to the Project Manager and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and site workers to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate site documentation and progress reporting for meetings and records.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all site activities.
