Job summary

Manpower Access Pte Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist the Project Manager in planning, monitoring, and organizing on the project site in Singapore. You will plan day-to-day work programmes and oversee progress, coordinating manpower and machineries, and liaising with subcontractors to ensure timely completion according to quality specifications and work schedule.

The role requires 2–3 years’ experience in Singapore, a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering (or related), and preference

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering is required and must be relevant to site works.
• PE Board registration is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in Singapore is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overall planning, monitoring and organizing on the project.
• Plan day-to-day work programme and oversee project progress.
• Coordinate daily site arrangements for manpower and machineries.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure timely completion per quality spec and schedule.
• Evaluate and resolve technical discrepancies at site.
• Manage, supervise and coordinate site works and workers.
• Ensure quality of works and compliance with safety and environmental regs.
• Ensure workers comply with safety requirements.
• Willing to help out if manpower is short.

Roles & Responsibilities

• TO ASSIST THE PROJECT MANAGER IN THE OVERALL PLANNING, MONITORING & ORGANIZING ON THE PROJECT.
• TO PLAN DAY-TO-DAY WORK PROGRAMME & OVERSEE OF THE PROJECT PROGRESS.
• DAILY SITE ARRANGEMENT FOR MANPOWER & MACHINERIES.
• TO LIAISE WITH SUBCONTRACTORS & ENSURE TIMELY COMPLETION OF ALL WORKS ACCORDING TO QUALITY SPECIFICATION & WORK SCHEDULE.
• TO EVALUATE & RESOLVE ANY DISCREPANCIES & PROBLEMS ARISING AT SITE (TECHNICAL MATTERS).
• TO MANAGE, SUPERVISE & COORDINATE SITE WORKS & WORKERS.
• TO SUPERVISE & ENSURE QUALITY OF WORKS ACHIEVED & TO COMPLY WITH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS.
• TO ENSURE WORKERS COMPLY WITH THE SAFETY REQUIREMENT
• WILLING TO HELP OUT IF SHORT OF MANPOWER

Requirement

• Civil Engineer preferablythat able toregistered with PE Board
• Min 2 – 3 years’ experience in Singapore
• Able to work under hot sun and fast faced environment
• Those with general construction work or drafter design skills preferred
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineer or related is a must
