AC CITY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Engineer to manage construction projects, supervise crews, prepare time and material estimates, and ensure quality assurance and safety on site.

The role requires coordinating with professionals, setting work schedules to meet deadlines, reviewing plans, and reporting to stakeholders. You will act as the technical adviser to subcontractors and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Formación

• Required experience in bored pile works, diaphragm wall and deep soil mixing.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, superb work ethic and ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.
• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating adjustments to crew and clients.
• Gathering data, compiling reports, and delivering presentations to stakeholders.
• Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions.
• Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
• Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.
• Set out, level and survey the site.
• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
• Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
• Agree a price for materials and make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
• Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the workforce.
• Liaise with local authority to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with clients and their representatives, attending meetings to inform progress.
• Carry out day-to-day management of the site and supervise subcontractors as required.
• Day-to-day management of the site, supervising site labour and subcontractors.
• Plan the work and efficiently organise plant and site facilities to meet deadlines.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems.
