Job summary

SINGAPORE SAILING PORT PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Site Engineer to support planning, coordination and execution of our construction projects in Singapore. You will assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and supervising daily civil and structural activities on site.

You will review drawings, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure works meet specifications while maintaining accurate site records. Mandarin is an advantage for communication with project teams.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of site engineering experience in construction.
Experience with Singapore construction projects preferred.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, civil and structural works.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Excellent coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work on construction sites.
Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and supervising daily civil and structural activities.
Review drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies, and coordinate clarifications with consultants.
Coordinate with subcontractors, site supervisors and suppliers to meet the schedule.
Monitor progress, maintain site records and prepare progress reports.
Coordinate site inspections with consultants and QA team and verify works meet drawings and specs.
Prepare method statements, technical submissions, RFIs and inspection requests.
Work with safety team to ensure site activities follow approved procedures and safety requirements.
